Not a huge week for ground breaking releases, but the first big summer movie is out, Wolverine.  But a good friend of mine who I went to film school with at Syracuse has his latest feature coming out.  My friend, director  Joe Lynch  directed Henry Rollins in :

    Wrong Turn 2: Dead End

Joe is a very talented filmmaker.  He was one of those guys that come along once in awhile : A very talented story teller with  great vision.  We took many  classes at Syracuse together.   Here is one of my favorite Joe Lynch stories : Joe, our friend Yale and I skipped class to go see The Devil’s Own  at the theatre.  The film was otherwise alright, hey, it had Pitt and Ford in it.   The next class, there was a pop quiz on what they covered in the class we missed.  We just looked at each other, laughed and wrote on the quiz : The Devil’s Own!!!!!!  One of the funniest memories of film school.  I hope to work with Joe in the near future.  He is one of the nicest guys guys you’ll ever meet.  I haven’t talked to him in a awhile but I’m sure we’ll pick up where we left off.  Keep it up brother!  Devil’s Own 2 baby!  Ok, maybe not, lol.  If you can support Joe and rent or buy Wrong Turn 2 : Dead End, it would mean a lot.
